David Dobrik: Meeting the man behind the Vlogs #VlogSquad

Hello guys!

Today's post is seriously just one I am choosing to throw on here because I am still reeling from my #FanGirlMoment of when I met David Dobrik. 

David Dobrik is a youtuber who started his career from the days of Vine. After the death of Vine, David moved over to youtube and started uploading videos of him and his friends doing whatever the heck they wanted. Funny skits and just whatever the heck they wanted really. 

I personally found David Dobrik through his ex-girlfriend (Liza Koshy's) channel and honestly I have loved him and his group of friends ever since. I cannot explain why, but I will say I definitely enjoy their content. 

When my husband and I visited California over a year ago, we hoped to somehow run into David (true story) because we were fans and just thought it would be cool to meet him. Well that didn't happen but it was alright because Cali is huge and we knew we expected too much anyway. LOL. 

Fast forward to this year, we now live in California and still continue to watch David Dobrik's vlogs. 

Well, one day, David mentioned he would be having a meet and greet  in LA at an event that was FREE to register for, and my inner fan girl SCREAMED to my husband, "Babe, we're going to meet David Dobrik". 

I registered for the EA play event and crossed my fingers as I began to get excited to meet one of my favorite youtubers. Not only do I love David's vlogs, but I also love the little of his personality that I have gotten to see through the TV screen and through his podcast. He seems to have a selfless personality and I also love his work ethic. As a youtuber myself, David has inspired me to create content I enjoy and to be consistent in doing so. 

Anyway, the day came when I met David Dobrik and it was epic. It was truly everything I imagined it would be and more. David was kind, had his signature big smile and actually conversed with ME. It wasn't a "hug and prop for photo" superficial kind of meeting. He asked questions and made jokes even within the short period of time we had. 

I am still not sure why I have taken out the time to write this post, but I am clearly still fan girling and felt like sharing this story on my blog.
