Happy New Year - Is this coming late?

Hello loves, 

Please, permit me to wish you a happy New year even though I am well aware that today is the first day in the new month of February. 

You see, I planned to start this year off with a bang, and in many ways, I actually did, but blogging and being a social media influencer had to take the back seat while I attended to other issues; starting with my laptop that broke during Vlogmas (did you watch all my vlogmas episodes on youtube by the way? That was such fun times. You should catch up HERE if you haven't seen the videos yet). 

Anyway, I digress. Aside from my broken laptop and other unexpected expenses and pressing issues that took my time and attention away, I was also actually enjoying a much needed break. 

My break didn't begin voluntarily. My laptop is a huge part of everything I do, and not having it forced a break upon me. I was angry at first, and then I found myself embracing the break. As the days went on, I realized it was a much needed break. 

I yearned to return to blogging and youtube-ing, but I also enjoyed getting to focus on my emotional, spiritual and physical wellbeing and having the undivided attention to take in the changes that were happening in my life. I got to think about my goals and where I want to direct my energy this year. I have no doubt now that it will in fact be a great year, because God is on my side and there is nothing that is impossible with him.

Additionally, the cold winter days aren't my favorite anyway, so there was really not much I could do with regards to being a style blogger. I am not a fan of winter fashion, and I don't bother shopping during the cold days. Aside from my staple jackets, tights and boots, I really hardly ever shop during the winter days.

However, this past weekend was a lovely one. We had amazing weather and I got to dress how I wanted and so I took the photos below. 

Anyways, enough chatting for now. I just wanted to update you guys briefly and notify you that my break is over. Ya girl is back and should be dropping a new video on youtube VERY SOON.
