Wheelchair Fashion: SpringTime OOTD + SammyDress.com Review

I've been away, I know! But today I was like, I got a minute, I'll Blog!!

I miss you all, and I hope you missed me too?

I got a floral top and bag from them for review and so, I decided to create a look incorporating both items they sent to me. 

Here's my overall look.

SO, Now that you've seen the look, I'll do my review of SammyDress.com. 

I've heard about SammyDress for a while now and reviews have been mixed about the website/company. 

Personally, I have experienced both the good and bad. 

Y'all know I love being real with you all whether I'm reviewing something I bought, or something that was sent to me. 

The first time SammyDress PR contacted me, things were horrible to say the least. I won't go into much detail, but the bottom line was that I never got what was supposed to be sent for review. 

A few weeks after I'd taken my mind off of their bad customer service/PR, I got contacted again by their company. 

I flat out declined the review request. BUT the PR person that contacted me mentioned to me that their company had upgraded and apologized on the company's behalf for my previous bad experience. 

I decided to give them a benefit of the doubt and accepted their apology. And then I chose this pretty floral top and a cute bag since spring weather is upon us. 

The products came in exactly 2 weeks and 3 days after she said it was sent. They arrived in good condition in a nice package. I pulled both out and here they are! Also in separate bags/covers. 

The shirt below. When I got it , I was like ok. Nice! I loved the material, the quality and the colors. I was expecting a floral shirt and it was floral. However when I was writing this blog post and wanted to get the direct product link, I discovered that the shirt I got (and now love) wasn't actually the exact one I chose on their website. They look similar, but this one does not look exactly like what I saw on their website. (I don't know if this is something common, but it certainly is worth mentioning in this review, don't cha think?)

And the bag below. 

The bag was EXACTLY the same as I saw on their website. Direct link here. 

The seams and quality is nice, I really LOVE this bag. I'll be carrying it a lot in the upcoming months. Especially with summer around the corner. Loving the color blocks and how SPACIOUS the bag is! Y'all, I Love BIG BAGS!

The bag has one small zip on one side and two small side pockets on another side on the inside of the bag. 

That's a lot of sides in one sentence, but I hope the picture helps you understand. 

 It also came with additional long shoulder straps. But I don't need that and so I won't be using it.

This bag is for the girl who loves her purses big.  And I DO!!! I stuffed it with so much for the picture below.

If you stuff it too much, the zipper won't close and the multicolored snaps won't snap... which kinda makes the bag lose it's shape... so... yeah.. I love it as seen above when everything is closed nicely. 

So overall, I love the products I got from them. The shirt wasn't exactly as advertised on their website but the bag is dead on!

Now let's get into some picture spams. There are many pictures so brace yourself for the craziness. Pharell William's - Happy has been stuck in my head for a while now! And I am indeed Happy!

Minimal makeup and accessories with my larger than life hair completed the look. 

The picture below reminds me of Lupita Nyongo when she won the Oscars. lol.. 

Y'all know I love wedged shoes because they're about the only way I can wear high heels on the wheelchair.

My photographer was in a great mood, and so was I. Interestingly, I chose not to narrow down pictures this time, sooo.. y'all get to see pretty much all the pictures we took.

I was relieving pressure off my butt below. One has to do pressure reliefs a lot if you're seating almost all day.

My overall review of SammyDress.Com is that, You should proceed with caution. When it comes to online shopping, anything can happen right? I Love the products I was sent for review, and they are pretty and nice quality. The bag exceeded my expectations. 

I have my eyes on a few other bags on their website, and if this one is anything to go by, I'll definitely be buying more bags from their website soon. I love the price range on their website and I like that they carry fashionable things... I am however sad about the mixed reviews I keep seeing, and 2 weeks or more is a pretty long time to wait for a product, BUT you have to keep in mind, they have free shipping on most items and they are very affordable.
