Swatches and Review: Butter London - Dodgy Barnett, Trustafarian & Lovely Jubbly
Hello Sugars.
I hope you all had a wonderful Labor Day Yesterday!
Today, I've got swatches of three polishes from butter London's Fall Collection.
Bottle Pictures below.
They are called: Dodgy Barnett, Trustafarian, and Lovely Jubbly.
First up, is Dodgy Barnett.
This is a silver holographic nail polish, and application was flawless. What you see below is three thin coats.
So pretty looking!
Next is Trustafarian.
Well now, this is the kind of HOLO I love!
The Holo is In your face and it also dries to an awesome finish after topcoat was applied.
Lastly, I Have Lovely Jubbly.
Glitter, Holo sparkles, and Purple.
Enough said... right? lol...
I was almost tempted to layer this over another color, but I'm so glad I didn't.
It's perfection on the nails, and the sparkle is a lot more "WOW-ish" in person.
Overall thoughts:
I think these three polishes from Butter London's Fall Collection scream "I'm rich, look at my nails". Lol...
Honestly I love the holo, the glitter, and the fact that they are all so easy to apply. The holos do not create "bald spots" when applied in thin coats, and when you allow each layer to come an an almost dry before applying the next layer.
That's it for now sugars.

These were sent for review. Opinions are 100% mine.
I would love to see these layered. I heard another blogger say that these are rather thin on their first coat and I would love to know if Dodgy Barnett can act as a holo top coat:) Thanks love!
ReplyDeleteHi Kate- I actually swatched these as well and Dodgy Barnett is thin but is still too opaque to be a top coat.
DeleteYes Kate, Ameerah is right. Although the first coat is a bit sheer, Dodgy Barnett is still to "dense" to be a holo top coat. :-)
DeleteThank you for the reply ladies:) I really appreciate it!
DeleteI love holographic!!
ReplyDeleteSame here my love. They are just so awesome!
DeleteI love love love these! So pretty!
